Went for buffet yesterday, the food was cold, they did not have all the stuff they had advertised like no papad, no goulab jamun, no lemonade, no strawberry cake, as all were advertised, some of the chicken pieces were bitter, again all the dishes were cold except the noodles. The palak paneer had no flavor, fries were cold, naan were old and hard, fresh naan were coming at a very slow pace, chilli paneer was little softer than a rock, overall a very bad experience. We have been here several times earlier also and every time most of the food has been cold. Seems we should avoid it going forward.

I ordered paneer biryani expecting it to be vegetarian, but found chicken pieces in it. As a vegetarian, that was really disappointing. Please be more careful while preparing and packing orders.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a vegetarian paneer biryani, but it was sent with egg despite my instructions. The salan was spoiled, and the aloo paratha was rubbery, bland, and lacked salt or flavor. No spoons or utensils were provided. When I called to report the issue, I was told to bring the food back to the restaurant for a replacement, which was unreasonable since I ordered through Uber and paid extra for delivery. Only after further discussion did they agree to a refund, but I have still not received it. Paid $34 for just a veg biryani and aloo paratha and received poor quality food and service. Very disappointed

The best Indian food ever and the service more than excellent I loved the mango drink is very rich nothing better since I came from Cuba 35 years ago and the lentils with kidney beans cream and spices the best I could not stop eating just with the spoons. We also had the mutton Rogan Josh curry meal. The best I’ve had. Just the right amount of spices. Highly recommend. Please try it you will enjoy very much ❤️

I usually don’t write online reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience at Swagath Foods Restaurant Buffet in East Lansing. The service was very slow, and most food trays were nearly empty with no timely refills. The dishes served were cold, oily, and lacked freshness. I even noticed flies in the raita, which was very disappointing. Despite visiting several times before, there seems to be no improvement — today’s visit was the worst so far. I would not recommend this buffet, especially given the missing tandoor items that were advertised. There are better Indian buffet options nearby.
